CVE-2025-30642

Service interruption via Damage Cleanup Engine junction

Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Jun 20, 2025

Link following in Trend Micro Deep Security Agent before 20.0.1-25770 allows local users to interrupt service by deleting a file. The Damage Cleanup Engine follows an attacker-created junction and deletes the file selected through that link. Low-privileged code execution on an affected Windows host is required, and the resulting file deletion causes denial of service.
