Administrative access via immutable default root credentials
Published Sep 18, 2025 · Updated Sep 19, 2025
Use of weak credentials in Dover Fueling Solutions ProGauge MagLink LX consoles allows remote attackers to gain administrative access. The appliance operating system exposes a root account with factory-default credentials that standard administrative controls cannot change. Network reachability to an affected console is sufficient for unauthenticated root-level control of the device and its protected management functions.
