CVE-2025-30485

Internal file disclosure or deletion via symlinks

Published Apr 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025

Symlink following in FutureNet NXR, VXR, and WXR routers allows administrators to read or destroy internal files through external storage. The firmware follows malicious symbolic links from attached storage into internal file paths instead of confining access to the external medium. Exploitation requires physical attachment of crafted storage and a logged-in administrative user, and the resulting access is limited to internal file disclosure or deletion.
