Cross-site scripting in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 18.4 allows attackers to inject script through a crafted file processed by Journal. Apple identifies insufficient input sanitization during Journal file processing but has not disclosed the affected parser or unsafe data flow. Exploitation requires user interaction to process the file, and the published impact excludes service interruption.
