CVE-2025-30404Network attack vector

Code execution via wrapped allocation bounds check

Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Aug 12, 2025

Integer overflow in ExecuTorch before 0.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute code by supplying a crafted model for loading. MemoryAllocator::allocate adds an attacker-controlled allocation size to the aligned start pointer; when the sum wraps below start, the original end-only check accepts an overlapping allocation. Exploitation requires a host application to load an untrusted ExecuTorch model, after which overlapping runtime buffers allow memory corruption and code execution in that application's process.
