Authenticated SQL injection via concatenated surname field
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Apr 1, 2025
SQL injection in add_employee.php in Code Projects Payroll Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access database data. The handler concatenates the lname field into an SQL statement and executes it without validation or parameterization; the record also identifies fname. A valid application session and access to employee creation are required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates database retrieval.
