CVE-2025-30358Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Server disruption via recursive dunder attribute writes

Published Mar 27, 2025 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Class pollution in mesop-dev Mesop before 0.14.1 allows remote authenticated users to disrupt servers or alter application behavior. The recursive JSON-to-dataclass updater follows attacker-supplied dunder keys through init and globals, permitting writes to module globals and class attributes. A user able to submit state updates can crash the server or impersonate conversation roles; code execution additionally requires an application-specific gadget.
