CVE-2025-30345Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Layout manipulation via unencoded chat names

Published Mar 21, 2025 · Updated Mar 21, 2025

HTML injection in Intevation OpenSlides before 4.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to alter deletion dialogs through chat names. The chat_group.create action accepts a user-controlled name, and deletion dialogs render permitted HTML elements from that name instead of encoding them as text. A victim must open a deleted chat or deleted message; the demonstrated result changes page layout, with no shown script execution or data disclosure.
