Arbitrary code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Animate 24.0.8, 23.0.11 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a malicious file is opened. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser, memory object, or bounds-checking operation that writes beyond its allocated buffer. A victim must open the crafted file, after which successful exploitation runs code with that victim's privileges and can compromise data or interrupt the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
