Victim-browser script execution via stored form input
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025
Stored XSS in Adobe Connect 12.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser through form fields. The affected form-field handling stores attacker-supplied script content without neutralizing it before rendering the containing page. Exploitation requires a victim to browse to that page; executed script can read or modify browser-accessible data in the site's security context.
