Memory disclosure via undisclosed file-parser operation
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe XMP Toolkit SDK 2023.12 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a malicious file. Adobe and the coordinated technical disclosure do not map this CVE to one of five corrected parsing loci, so the exact faulty operation is undisclosed. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and the disclosed memory can assist bypass of address-space randomization.
