Sensitive-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds read
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe XMP Toolkit SDK 2023.12 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Public research groups this CVE with five code paths that read past allocated buffers but does not identify which path Adobe assigned to this identifier. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file; the disclosure exposes process memory for bypassing ASLR, with no reported data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
