High-privileged file read via undisclosed access-control failure
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Jun 24, 2025
Improper access control in Adobe ColdFusion 2025.0, 2023.12, and 2021.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. Adobe has not published the affected component or the access-control operation that mishandles a request, leaving the concrete request path undisclosed. A high-privileged account and network access are required; exploitation needs no user interaction and exposes files readable by the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
