Access-control bypass in Vite allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through an exposed development server. The transform middleware tests raw and import query patterns without first removing trailing question-mark separators, allowing crafted @fs URLs to evade ensureServingAccess. Reachability requires explicit network exposure through --host or server.host; the demonstrated consequence is file disclosure only.
