CVE-2025-30206Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated host compromise via hard-coded JWT secret

Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Authentication bypass in DPanel before 1.6.1 allows remote attackers to gain administrative access by forging JWTs with a default secret. The service initializes its JWT signing key from a hard-coded source value, so attacker-generated HS256 tokens pass authentication and authorize privileged API actions. Default configuration and network reachability are required; successful exploitation permits arbitrary file writes on the host and associated command execution.
