Traffic interception via unregistered internal domain
Published Mar 18, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Improper access control in G-Net Dashcam BB GONX devices allows remote attackers to intercept sensitive traffic via an internal domain. The device configuration assigns an unregistered public domain name to an internal service, allowing public DNS resolution to direct traffic to the domain controller. Exploitation requires Internet-based resolution of that name; the cited research reports that the domain is now registered, removing the originally reported takeover opportunity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
