Unauthorized dashcam API access via hard-coded credentials
Published Mar 18, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in G-Net GNET APK 2.6.2 allow physically proximate attackers to access G-ONX dashcam APIs over Wi-Fi. The APK embeds separate plaintext credentials accepted by the settings API on port 9091 and the streaming service on port 9092. Attackers must first connect to the dashcam SSID; the exposed credentials permit settings retrieval and live-stream access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
