CVE-2025-30131Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Root command execution via unrestricted CGI upload

Published Jun 26, 2025 · Updated Jun 26, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in IROAD Dashcam FX2 allows remote attackers to execute root commands through an uploaded CGI webshell. The unauthenticated /action/upload_file endpoint accepts arbitrary files, enabling the device's HTTP service to execute uploaded CGI content as root. Access requires connectivity to the dashcam's Wi-Fi-hosted HTTP service; successful exploitation grants complete device control and supports a persistent reverse shell.
