Recording disclosure via unauthenticated media ports
Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025
Improper access control in Marbella KR8s Dashcam FF 2.0.8 allows remote attackers to download video and audio recordings. The device accepts a socket command on port 7777 and serves video on port 7778 and audio on port 7779 without additional media authentication. Reachability requires nearby Wi-Fi access obtained with a default, common, or cracked password; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of stored routes, conversations, and footage.
