Wi-Fi password disclosure via cleartext SD-card write
Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Jul 30, 2025
Cleartext credential storage in Marbella KR8s Dashcam FF 2.0.8 allows physically proximate attackers to obtain the Wi-Fi password. When a new SD card is inserted, the device automatically writes its existing Wi-Fi password to that card without encryption. Temporary physical access is sufficient to replace the card and read the credential, exposing wireless network access without directly altering recordings or settings.
