CVE-2025-30115

Unauthorized network access via fixed Wi-Fi credentials

Published Mar 18, 2025 · Updated Mar 21, 2025

Hard-coded Wi-Fi credentials in Forvia Hella HELLA Driving Recorder DR 820 allow physically proximate attackers to access its device network. The recorder broadcasts a fixed SSID and accepts the same unchangeable password, qwertyuiop, for Wi-Fi association. The attacker must be within Wi-Fi range, and this flaw alone grants network access rather than direct access to footage or settings.
