Missing authorization in IROAD V9 dashcams allows remote attackers to alter settings and disable recording through the device network. The configuration-management interface accepts settings changes from parties connected to the dashcam network without an authorization check. Network access is required; accepted changes can mute alerts, stop recording, factory-reset the device, or disable battery protection and drain the vehicle battery.
