Administrator password-hash disclosure via unrestricted ORM filtering
Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Jul 25, 2025
Information disclosure in CNCF Harbor 2.12.x before 2.12.4 and 2.13.x before 2.13.1 allows remote authenticated users to read password hashes. The /api/v2.0/users q parameter passes attacker-chosen column filters through metadata.Filterable, which returned true even for fields tagged as non-filterable. Administrator access is required; repeated password=~ filters disclose password hashes and salts character by character without altering data.
