CVE-2025-30066Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

CI/CD secret disclosure via malicious memory dumping

Published Mar 15, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Embedded malicious code in tj-actions changed-files 1 through 45.0.7 allows remote attackers to expose CI/CD secrets in workflow logs. The updateFeatures code downloads a Python script, reads Runner.Worker process memory through Linux /proc, double-base64-encodes secret values, and prints them. Execution on a Linux GitHub Actions runner is required, and publicly accessible logs let attackers read the exposed credentials.
