Database disclosure via injectable UserID parameter
Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
SQL injection in CGM CLININET before 2024.MS4 allows remote authenticated users on an adjacent network to read database data. The OpenReportWindow.pl service processes the UserID parameter without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing the supplied value to alter a database query. Exploitation requires low-privileged access from an adjacent network, and the published impact is limited to database confidentiality.
