Unauthenticated SQL injection via unsanitized Category input
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul e-Diary Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database through the Category field. The edit-category.php handler places the POST category value directly into an SQL query without cleaning, validation, or parameter binding. No login is required; a time-based blind payload can enumerate databases, and unauthorized queries can read, alter, or delete stored data.
