Administrator-session script execution via stored friend links
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Saysky ForestBlog 20250321 allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. The Friend Link Handler persists attacker-controlled link content without effective output neutralization, and the administration link list renders that content as executable markup. Low-privilege access to submit a friend link and administrator interaction with the stored link list are required; successful exploitation alters content in the administrator's web session.
