CVE-2025-30007Network attack vector

Authenticated root command execution via unsafe DNS eval

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

OS command injection in Hestia Control Panel before 1.9.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root. update_domain_zone() splits attacker-controlled DNS configuration lines into assignments and passes them to eval after is_dns_record_format_valid() accepts a single quote in the record type. Any low-privilege panel account that can create a DNS record can terminate the assignment and run shell commands with root privileges.
