Authenticated file disclosure and deletion via traversal
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 27, 2025
Path traversal in Xorcom CompletePBX 5.2.35 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read and delete arbitrary files. The Diagnostics stopMode method accepts traversal sequences in the systemDataFileName parameter, packages the referenced file into a ZIP report, and deletes the source file. A valid CompletePBX session is required; retrieving a sensitive or operational file both discloses its contents and removes it from the server.
