Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025
Improper access control in the Tenda FH1202 1.2.0.14(408) web interface allows remote attackers to change device passwords. The SysToolChangePwd handler accepts a crafted unauthenticated HTTP POST request at the goform endpoint and applies password settings without enforcing access control. No prior session is required, and the resulting credential change can deny legitimate administrative access to the router.
