Protected page metadata disclosure via unchecked REST listing
Published Mar 19, 2025 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Information disclosure in XWiki Platform before 15.10.14, 16.4.6, or 16.10.0-rc-1 allows remote attackers to list protected pages. WikiPagesResourceImpl.getPages executes its document query and creates PageSummary entries without checking Right.VIEW on each result. When the main wiki blocks unregistered viewers, an unauthenticated request still reveals protected page names, titles, and URLs but not page content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
