Installed-package status disclosure via path traversal
Published Dec 4, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Path traversal in Synology Router Manager 1.3 before 1.3.1-9346-13 allows remote authenticated users to obtain installed-package status. Synology identifies the locus as portenable CGI but has not disclosed the pathname parameter or failed validation operation. High-privilege SRM access is required, and the disclosed consequence is limited to learning the status of installed packages.
