Use-after-free in Excel in Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise allows local users to execute code after opening malicious content. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected Excel component, the object freed too early, or the operation that later reuses its memory. Exploitation requires user interaction and executes code within the affected user's security context, permitting access to that user's data and privileges.
