CVE-2025-29809

Local security-feature bypass via insecure sensitive-data storage

Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Insecure sensitive-data storage in Windows Kerberos allows local authenticated users to bypass a security feature on affected Windows builds. Microsoft identifies insecure storage in the Kerberos component but has not disclosed the stored data, storage locus, or improper access operation.
