Authenticated code execution via arbitrary code injection
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Improper authorization in affected Microsoft SharePoint Server builds allows remote authenticated users to execute code over a network. SharePoint accepts attacker-written arbitrary code for injection and execution, but Microsoft has not identified the affected handler or failed authorization check. At least Site Owner access is required, and injected code runs in SharePoint Server context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
