Browser script execution via unsanitized tipo parameter
Published Mar 14, 2025 · Updated Mar 18, 2025
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.17 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in users' browsers through the tipo parameter. The adicionar_tipo_docs_atendido.php endpoint stores the tipo value without validating or sanitizing it, then renders the value when the affected page loads. A victim must access that page; the script runs in that user's browser context and enables session theft or unauthorized actions as that user.
