Administrator script execution via decoded contract comments
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025
Stored XSS in the Perfex CRM Contracts module 3.2.0 through 3.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator browser. The contract discussion handler decodes HTML entities in the content parameter and stores the result, which is later rendered as raw HTML. A client account must submit a crafted comment and an administrator must view the discussion; the injected script then runs in that administrator session.
