Script execution via unneutralized outtype parameter
Published May 14, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in OA System before 2025.01.01 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts via the outtype parameter. The outAddress handler in address/AddrController.java places attacker-controlled outtype data into a generated page without neutralizing executable HTML or script. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted response; the script then runs in the OA System origin and can read or alter data available to that user's session.
