Authenticated command execution via PHP script runner
Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
Remote code execution in Litepubl CMS 7.0.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run PHP code through admin/service/run. The administrative service exposes a PHP-script runner, and a cookie-authenticated AntSword client can bypass PHP disable_functions to obtain a command shell. Administrator privileges and a valid session cookie are required; successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands under the web service account.
