CVE-2025-29631Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote command execution via unsanitized upgrade parameters

Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Feb 25, 2026

OS command injection in Gardyn Home Kit firmware before master.619 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands over the network. The upgrade direct-management handler passes attacker-controlled uri, path, and service values to os.system without sanitization. Reaching that handler requires a connected device and access to its IoT Hub direct-management channel; successful exploitation grants system-level device control.
