LAN service interruption via undisclosed HTTP request
Published Mar 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 1, 2025
Denial of service in the HTTP request handler of TRENDnet TEW-818DRU 1.0.14.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt router service. The affected /usr/sbin/httpd functionality mishandles an HTTP request, but published sources do not identify the request field or exact failing operation. The attacker must reach the router from the local network; the documented consequence is loss of availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
