Authenticated command execution via unsanitized ping destination

Command injection in the ping function of D-Link DSL-7740C firmware DSL7740C.V6.TR069.20211230 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The SSH and Telnet ping test incorporates the supplied destination into a shell command without neutralizing command separators, so a crafted destination runs additional commands. Administrative credentials for either management interface are required, and successful exploitation grants elevated command execution on the device.
