Database read and modification via Search SQL injection
Published Mar 30, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025
SQL injection in Bluestar Micro Mall 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through the Search parameter. The /api/data.php endpoint fails to neutralize SQL syntax in Search values before using them in downstream SQL command processing. Low-privileged application access is required, and successful injection can expose, alter, or interrupt access to database-backed data.
