Host header injection in IBM operating-system releases 7.3 through 7.6 allows remote authenticated users to alter generated host references. The Navigator web interface accepts an attacker-controlled Host header without neutralizing it before using the value as a domain or IP address. A valid Navigator session is required; IBM has not disclosed the affected handler or resulting behavior beyond changed domain or IP references.
