CVE-2025-29419

Traffic interception and modification by man-in-the-middle attackers

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

Man-in-the-middle exposure in CTFd 3.7.6 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read and alter traffic between users and the server. Neither MITRE nor CTFd has disclosed the affected channel, protocol, or verification operation that permits interception. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker in an adjacent network position; it exposes traffic, permits limited alteration, and does not interrupt service.
