Stored XSS via unescaped contact email
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 21, 2025
Stored XSS in Hospital Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser through a contact message. /contact.php accepts a proxy-modified txtEmail value, stores it despite client-side email validation, and renders it without neutralizing HTML or script content. No account is required to submit the payload, but an administrator must later open the saved message; execution is confined to that user's browser context.
