Stored script execution via unescaped content titles
Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 9, 2025
Stored XSS in PbootCMS 3.2.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser through a content title. The content-title field stores an HTML event-handler payload without neutralization and renders it in the backend content listing. Backend content-editing access and a later view of the saved entry are required, limiting impact to browser-side actions in that session.
