Unauthenticated router crash via unchecked deviceId copy
Published Mar 13, 2025 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda RX3 firmware 16.03.13.11_multi_TDE01 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted deviceId. The /goform/saveParentControlInfo handler copies the deviceId request value without verifying that it fits the destination buffer. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient, and the published impact is limited to service interruption rather than data access or modification.
