Router crash via unchecked firewall parameter
Published Mar 13, 2025 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda RX3 firmware 16.03.13.11_multi_TDE01 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted firewall request. The /goform/SetFirewallCfg handler fails to validate the length of the attacker-controlled firewallEn parameter before copying it into a fixed-size buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation interrupts routing service without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
