Arbitrary file deletion via insufficient path validation
Published Jul 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in jkdevstudio JKDEVKIT 1.9.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The font_upload_handler function accepts an insufficiently validated file path and deletes the referenced file outside its intended directory. Subscriber access is sufficient unless WooCommerce is enabled, when Contributor access is required; deleting wp-config.php can enable code execution.
